Paul graduated from Liverpool university in 2002.After several years in mixed practice in Cheshire and Staffordshire and small animal practice near Manchester, he moved to Sutherland and joined Rogart Vets in 2006. He now spends most of his time involved in our Crofting and Farming work.

 

Paul and his wife live just outside Golspie with their cocker spaniel "Poppy" and a variety of hens and ducks . He is an enthusiastic bee keeper, but unfortunately finds that for some reason his bees appear not to like him!

Claire MacLennan

Veterinary Surgeon

Claire graduated from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh in June 2012. After graduation Claire worked in mixed practices in Aberdeenshire doing mainly farm work, and in Edinburgh doing small animal and equine practice, before moving back home to the Highlands in May 2014. Claire is originally from a croft in Birichen, just outside Dornoch and saw practice at Rogart Vets before going to university. In her free time Claire is found walking her Labrador, Rover, horse riding and spending time on her partner's farm. Claire is thoroughly enjoying being back in the Highlands and seeing familiar faces in the surgery.

Eimear Ross

Eimear is from Belfast and qualified in UCD in 1987.  Eimear has worked at several practices in Belfast, Fife and South Yorkshire, including mixed, small animal and equine practice.  She worked at Rogart Vets for 13 years since 1989 and then took a career break of 12 years to look after 2 children and working the family croft and business.  

 

Eimear's interests include walking, cycling, swimming and gardening.  

 

 

Neil McRae

Veterinary Surgeon

Neil is a graduate of the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, and has worked in many different parts of the UK from London to Shetland.  For the past 12 years he has been based in the North of Scotland, having moved to the Isle of Skye to try and learn Gaelic.  His special interest in practice is veterinary anaesthesia.
